RenderStudio is a collection of scene libraries,
designed to be used with RenderDrive and PURE. They
provide ready built environments in which you can
place your own objects, saving you modelling time.
To get the most realistic results from RenderDrive
and PURE, it is worth modelling an environment for
your scene. This is especially true if you are using
RenderPipe materials because they do not use fake
specular highlights, instead reflecting their surroundings
thus giving physically correct highlights.
The files on this page are available to RenderDrive
and PURE users who have a current ART VPS subscription.

These files can be opened in Maya 4.5 and 5.
Each library consists of an Adobe Acrobat PDF file
describing the library and containing sample pictures,
and a zip file containing a project which in turn
contains the Maya scene files and any bitmaps used.
When you unzip, choose the option to recreate folders.
In Maya set the current project to be the newly
unzipped folder, then the scenes and bitmaps will
be in the right place to be opened.
There are three libraries for Maya: Generic Studios,
Still Life Studios and Kitchens.
This library contains relatively simple studios,
for example a blue studio.

This library contains more complex studios, designed
to be used for producing still life pictures, though
some animation is also possible. The scenes include
a walnut table and an oak floor.

This library contains two kitchen scenes, two dining
room scenes and a polished wooden floor scene.

These files can be opened in 3ds max versions 4,
5 and 6 and in Autodesk VIZ 4.
