This page contains the downloads for old software release. If you have a current ART VPS subscription, please go to the new software downloads page.
The software downloads on this page are available to PURE and RenderDrive users with current ART VPS subscriptions. They are also available to customer who either had an ART VPS subscription between September 2002 and May 2003, or bought a PURE or RenderDrive during the same dates.
The zip files are password protected. To get the password or interfaces not listed below, please contact ART VPS customer support.
You must update your PURE / RenderDrive software at the same time as you update your RenderPipe plugin, as the plugin and software must match. Also download the release notes and updated manual.

To install:
Go to the control panel and use the Add / Remove Programs panel to remove the current PURE software.
Unzip the pure-1.3-1-no-docs.zip file, being sure to choose the option to recreate directories.
Run the setup.exe in the newly unzipped PURE_Software directory. If the install stops with an error about PURE_Starter.exe, run PURE.msi instead of setup.exe.
If your operating system is Windows NT, check that PURE has installed properly - go to the Start > Programs > Startup menu and check there is a PUREStarter entry. If there is not, then run PURE.msi instead of setup.exe.

To install:
Unzip the rdx000-2.8-1.zip file
Follow the instructions on pages 7 and 8 of the release notes to install the software
Note: Do not forget to enter the "bin" command before doing the "put" commands - this is really easy to forget
